A World Cup–style celebration of Cincinnati’s international communities – uniting neighborhoods, cultures, and organizations through the game we all love.
Building Bridges, One Match at a Time
Each June, the International Center of Greater Cincinnati hosts a two-day soccer tournament that brings together neighborhoods, cultural associations, and country groups from across Cincinnati. Teams compete not just for the win, but for the chance to represent their community and celebrate what makes Cincinnati’s international population so rich.
The tournament was founded by Dr. Ibrahim Amidou, ICGC’s Executive Director, a UC professor and soccer coach committed to youth development, mentorship, and community service. His vision: a joyful, World Cup-style celebration where international communities become visible, connect with one another, and are welcomed as part of the fabric of Greater Cincinnati.
