When I first arrived in the United States, the International Center became a place of learning, support, and kindness for me. From the very beginning, the school not only welcomed me into its classes but also made sure I had the resources I needed to succeed. They provided transportation so I could attend classes regularly, making sure I could get to school and back home safely. They also offered food - sometimes to enjoy at school and sometimes to take home - so that I never felt left without support. When the seasons changed, they generously provided clothes, helping me adapt to a new environment and focus on my studies. More than anything, the International Center gave me knowledge, encouragement, and a true sense of community. Thanks to their dedication, I was able to learn, grow, and build a stronger future for myself. I will always be grateful for what this school has done for me and for many other students like me.
